From the “What the Hell?”

From the “What the Hell?” Department: Apparently Cobalt Networks is taking Apple to court over a square box. Cobalt says the new Apple PowerMac G4 Cube (a PowerMac G4 in a small, cube-shaped case) is a knock-off the Cobalt Qube (a Linux server in a small, cube-shaped case) which has been around since 1998, two years more than the Apple PowerMac G4 Cube.
Excuse me? Doesn’t anybody on the planet but me remember a computer that came out in 1988 (a full ten years before the Cobalt Qube) called the NeXT Cube? Who was it who was running NeXT Computers back then? Oh yeah….Steve Jobs.
Jobs ought to be suing Cobalt.
