PC World: Notebooks Could Run

[Tangent: how I spend my time off: standing in Barnes & Noble reading all the magazines I don't want to shell out the money to buy. I did shell out a few clams for the current issue of Harper's because it has an article on the Sept. 11 attacks by Don Delillo, who, in addition to being one of my favorite authors, has written some great novels addressing terrorism (Mao II) and the cultural ramifications of violent, political acts (Underworld, Libra, The Names, Running Dog). Haven't read the article yet, though. ]
AAAANYWAY….My Thinkpad 600X eats its lithium ion battery like a starvin’ man at a Sizzler buffet, so I’d be game for fuel cells that give me 10-20 hours of battery life. At least I could get a flight farther away from DC than Philly without my battery giving up the ghost.
